What a month! The Concept team headed to Brisbane for a team-building workshop whilst watching some quality rugby league at the iconic Suncorp Stadium. The pinnacle match being the Warriors (Up the Waas) Sunday afternoon and boy did it live up to the hype - commentators calling it the game of the weekend. Our boys knocked over the 3 time Premiership champions Penrith Panthers 22-20.
Back home Nicola and Chris have released their first budget which is the main water cooler chat this week, not much change from the status quo for most.
We hope you all had a great month and enjoy hearing a bit about what we have been up to in the last few weeks.
Moa Road, Point Chevalier
Liam and the boys have been busy in Point Chevalier for another month, the last few weeks have been focused on the backyard improvements including new concrete paths to be tiled, and 60m2 of new 140mm Kwila decking. What a transformation this has made to the property. Interesting to note 18 months ago we were paying around $14/m for 140mm Kwila decking now only $9.15/m a true sign of the times.
Aberdeen Road, Campbells Bay
We have just got underway on this deck renovation in Campbells Bay - the team have remove the 20 year old existing Kwila deck and the new timber piles have been pour with concrete. This customer is taking advantage of the low Kwila decking prices also. These days the team are somewhat specialists in the most efficient systems laying hardwood decking and battling the Auckland weather with heavy downpours coming through most days.
The client's brief was to get in and out as quickly as possible (please), Concept can assist in this space with an amazing team of 14 keen young men we have 4 team members turning this 65m2 deck around in two weeks.
