Welcome to the 2024 series of the monthly Concept Newsletter the team are feeling refreshed and ready to hit the ground running with another positive enjoyable year ahead.
We hope you all had an amazing Christmas holiday spending time with friends and family, eating Christmas ham and enjoy some of the great weather Aotearoa has been blessed with. Don’t forget, just because your back at work the summer fun is not over, the good weather continues and the long weekends keep coming - utilise the opportunities to make the most of these beautiful months. At Concept we are huge believers in work life balance, taking the Monday off before Waitangi Day just makes sense to us. We hope you enjoy the light reading below sharing some of the awesome stuff we have been doing this month.
Stanhope Road, Mount Wellington
Where the magic happens - our headquarters in Stanhope road is home base for the team. We are thoroughly enjoying being in the awesome facility which incorporates all the necessary requirements for us to operate enjoyably and successfully. See myself and Henry B beavering away on some of the exciting new projects we are working towards. The office also enables us to host regular tool boxes and team meetings to stay on top of general admin and project specific progression and details. To say our new home has benefited the team would be a ginormous understand. Please stop in if you are in the area!
Apihai Street, Orakei
Tevita and Jack are pushing through the tropical 28 degrees on daily basis, recently completing the roof framing throughout successfully. The roof has now been installed to the lower roof areas and garage offering great protection from the harsh sun. This week we have been rebating the timber subfloor for the flush finish joinery units, papering the building and preparing for the exciting aluminium cladding installation.
Te Arawa Street, Orakei
JP, Josh and Liam have been thrown in the deep end on this small landscaping project in Orakei, what better way to learn than a bit of responsibility. The boys have done a great job with good guidance from the management team. Don’t forget we are more than happy to assist with all jobs large or small.
